NASDN || North American Search Dog Network
The North American Search Dog Network was formed in 1988 in response to the need for a readily accessible, detailed list of qualified search dogs and handlers. NASDN maintains a computerized database of members, which details areas of expertise and experience.

ARDA || American Rescue Dog Association
The American Rescue Dog Association is the nation's oldest air-scenting search dog organization. Since its inception, ARDA's standards and training methods have served as the model for K-9 search and rescue units across the nation and around the world.

FEMA || Federal Emergency Management Agency
FEMA's mission is to lead the effort to prepare the nation for all hazards and effectively manage federal response and recovery efforts following any national incident.

SARCOM || Search and Rescue Council of Missouri
SARCOM stands for the Search and Rescue Council of Missouri which is an organization comprised of numerous search and rescue teams from all across Missouri that will assist with any natural or man-made disaster or missing person searches within the state as directed by the State Emergency Management Agency known as SEMA.

SEMA || Missouri State Emergency Management Agency
SEMA's mission is to protect the lives and property of all Missourians when major disasters threaten public safety in any city, county or region of Missouri.
